The Gala Ball at Doltone House will begin the week’s festivities of the Classic culminating with the swim, paddle and club events on Sunday 1st November. The community carnival in South Cronulla Park will provide Shire residents with a great family day of fun including rides for the kids and entertainment for all. Camp Kookaburra offers fun programs to kids living with families affected by mental illness. Camp Kookaburra believe that all children need a place where they can just be kids while receiving the support they need. Camp Kookaburra was the vision of Dianne Madden, who through personal experience identified an unmet need in the community, that of the lack of support for children living in families affected by mental illness, where the children take on a caring role within the family.
